My border

Saw this border on MQS and thought it was great, I can't  really do it free hand so I traced it on golden paper!!!

Fishing today!!!

this is a mussel farm, and here is the boat that works there,
it is a great place to go fishing, but we don't go into the zone,
always outside the warning ballasts

New day, New task!!

Today was a beautiful day,  I planted my flowers in the garden, DH cut the grass, I started making cover buttons for my rose quilt, did the bias binding and my label, so then I started this;

Pleased how it is coming, I used light gray cotton thread, and it gives a nice look!!!!
Of course it is a Moda!!!

Easter Monday

Had a great day yesterday, hubby and I had a feasting for Easter dinner, I can say that our strawberry Tarte was giant for the two of us,  he did the shopping!!!!
but one thing, strawberry tarte for breakfast isn't that great!!!Didn't want it to go to waste!!!!
Well, I finally had the courage to finish my roses, and they are on the frame.  I am so, so with it, I should have used brown thread, and put a plain backing, but it is done, so here is a picture!!!
By the way, we had a storm this afternoon!!!Looks great.....

APQS mini friendship swap

My little quilt arrived in the USA yesterday , so now I can show you what I did.
I did three background fills, an another for the border.  I put crystals by swarovski, to make it shine,  the flowers and leaves are dimensional. 
Hope that it fills her dreams, always hard to make something for someone else!!!

Patchwork in Juvignac today

Today is Monday, so Monday is Juvignac, the girls are working on the X blocks, so far this is what they have done.  Now two weeks of vacation!!!Lovely

This is Jeannine's, nice colors and great work for a young lady of 80!!!!

Francoise, she is a little behind everyone, but will catch up over the vacation!!

A surprise when we arrived this evening!!!

In my mailbox, what a nice surprise,  well, I knew, Rebecca told me that she was sending me some things.
The first magazine I opened I found feathers!!!!!Still have to draw mine out to see if I am doing then correctly!!!
Thank you Rebecca for the surprise, I have some reading and PPP to do  so all for now.

Today another fishing day, but for me......................

When we go out fishing, I do my fishing in my patchwork bag!!!  I do my Wednesday flower, even though it is Saturday, my flower for the week is almost done!!  I won't say that I am way behind either

Look at the water and sky, what a color blue that is, and if you look good in the background, that is where we came from this morning.  Six fish in the basket at 18H.
