The girls are quilting.... Decided that they needed a little work out on the APQS long arm quilting machines, so off we went to the showroom Allée de la Mercerie in Vendargues and as you can see Lenni and Lucy had a great work out !!! We will be at it for at least four weeks... Hope all the girls get their butterfly quilt done... It's a pattern from JoAnne Hoffmann... beautiful...   Of course we needed some energy and off to the restaurant... good times !!! Great day :-)

Today I finished this beautiful quilt for Paule

You will need the patter, you should be able to download the picture and it should be the right size.. you need... 2       7  inch squares for the main fabric 1       7 inch piece of batting, cotton if possible or 80/20 1        2 1/2 inch square of fabric or a fussy cut flower for the center of the flower 1        2 1/2 inch piece of  "heat n bond" light I use a water soluble marking pencil for the pattern pieces thread to match or the color of your choice.... a white "HERA" marker from Clover  to form and push out the curves once turned inside out... I use my Bernina 23 foot because I can see the line to sew on.  The sewing line is curved, so not that easy to sew with a regular foot.. I am sure that you all have scraps of beautiful fabric to make these, I am using my scraps from Kaffe Fassett to make these, ...
