Suzan's Patchwork Garden

Working on a beautiful silk crazy quilt, I am using Allure by fil-tec, it is a silk thread, beautiful, everything is perfect, my stitches fabalous.....  

No comments, but I feel just as young as I was the other day.... This year will bring lots of changes, hoping to sell the house, move, have my studio, and the rest is dreams, Oh dreams, what would I do without them, guess I better put my two feet on the floor  and......live

OK, I can do what I want so will do a design in the center and then do a free hand in the borders, going to be fun.....   I have a small house, and I forgot to take a picture of the back......She had pieced a backing and it was beautiful, the next one I will not forget to take......OH yes there is a next one for ???? I used a beautiful Aurifil green cotton thread, it really looks nice and blends in beautifully...    

Can do what I want!!!!! So lets play, Classes with Karen, you know KAREN.... so I will do my new designs and have lots of fun freehanding it.......       My thread.......Aurifil cotton, a beautiful white then a pinky pink, Love it...... I have the best job in the world!!!!!!  

Happy that I finished my post for my trip in the USA, took awhile, but pleased and now..... This is Anne Marie's quilt...It is her first quilt and it is beautiful, I chose a tea rose design, lots of flowers in the fabrics and of course roses.... I used Aurifil cotton a beautiful peachy color, I love it think it just perfect, somewhere I have a picture of the back, so that will be to come....... Enjoy!!!!!     An American...... One of the girls went to the USA and bought this fabric, made the quilt and I have the chance to quilt it....... I did feathers and in the stars I quilted around the stars, but in the center there is an american eagle...... not showie, but it is there and .....      

....Sort of late doing this but I will post pictures of my trip to Minnesota, Iowa and Houston!! I arrived in Minneapolis Saturday afternoon, here is my rental car, Hotel is not far so off I go.  Walmart ( a big discount store)  found on the way so stopped to get a few things that I needed plus a few extras for friends!!  wonder who these are for?    Little RED American car, OH my!!! a  Chevy!! Hotel was a ....., lots of noise, and I had to go out for ........  my first American breakfast!!  but that's OK I am in Minnesota!!!! Vermont maple syrup? no!! Minnesota maple syrup!!
