Guess this will be all for tonight, still have lots of quiting to do.  I will put a picture on tomorrow so that everyone can see my mini swap quilt.  Hope that it will be done.

What a day yesterday!!

Big scare on the mini quilt swap, one of the girls posted a picture (ha ha) I almost died when I saw the post on the forum, knowing me, I'm late.........  But no, just a big surprise for everyone.  Well it got me busy, I am quilting,  (I did get my Golden Threads paper today) already took it out twice, should have quilted by hand, but guess we learn with time.  Next swap will be better.

So excited, just got an e-mail in and my quilts are ready to be shiped out .  Made my day, they were quilted by Cathy Franks, hope that they did not give her any trouble.

OH MAIL BOX, MY MAIL BOX!!!!

Waiting calmly to see if my mailman will arrive today with a package.
 I ordered Golden threads quilting paper so that I can finish my mini quilt for an APQS exchange. 
Golden threads paper is a thin paper that you can draw on.  Once you have chosen your design,
 trance it on the paper,  pin it onto your quilt top and sew over it  to do your quilting design.
 WHOW!! With this paper no marking on your quilt top, and it is very easy to remove the paper once sewn.

IRISH CHAIN

A full size bed quilt with big beautiful flower bouquets.
I fell in love with the fabric, and just had to do something.
Thought this was just the right design for the fabric.

MY STAR QUILT

I made this about 2 years ago, but I think it is still quite up to date.  I used Moda fabrics, hand sewn on the machine and long arm quilted.

Where am I?

I am in the south of France, on the Mediterranean Sea near the city of Montpellier,  which I love because the capital of Vermont is also Montpelier.  You willl find out why later.
Today was a beautiful day to go out and get lots of sun, no wind and a big blue sky.
No sewing today, so will add on a few pictures tomorrow and show you what I am working on.
